How managed assets are counted

A managed asset is a U.S. patent or published application actively tracked in IP Brainbox for valuation, maintenance-fee analysis, or portfolio workflows. Active assets count toward your plan limit. Archived assets do not count while archived.

Each distinct U.S. patent or application number counts as one managed asset.
Related family members may appear in family intelligence, but plan limits apply to tracked U.S. assets unless otherwise stated.
Expired, abandoned, or inactive records count if they remain active in your portfolio.
CSV imports count only when a row successfully adds or reactivates an asset.
Duplicate, invalid, skipped, or errored rows do not increase usage.

Prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated at checkout. Annual plans are billed at 10× the listed monthly rate (two months free versus twelve monthly payments). PSRP values, maintenance simulations, and related analytics are decision-support estimates for internal portfolio management. They are not legal advice, formal appraisals, or financial opinions. Plan quotas and commercial terms are governed by the agreement accepted at checkout or renewal.
